Mice and Men

The paths of mice and men...
Which would you follow?
Can you guess, I think not,
Which one leads to tomorrow?
Mice will never guide you wrong.
They're only following their noses.
While men will try to trick and fool you
With poems and with roses.
Mice will always love you dearly,
Especially if you have cheese!
Men can love you for other things,
Love being the least of these!
Mice can always make you smile,
With their whiskers and their fur.
A man's happiness is all that matters.
Your own will rarely occur!
The truth must be said about
The likenesses of mice and men.
If you try to love them truely,
You'll ATTEND to both of them!
Cleaning a cage and cleaning a house.
O! The affections you'll win!
Happiness you will bring to all,
Where yours shall never begin!
